I would love to recommend some that I have personally been to and love – just let me know what kind of winery scene you are looking for (views for miles, underground caves, downtown…) and I’ll give you plenty to choose from. There’s dozens of tour companies who offer customized itineraries too and will do all the driving for you so you don’t have to worry about needing someone to drive (and stay sober)! You can also stop at Oakville Grocery or Contimo Provisions (my personal favorite – ask for Ryan, the owner, and tell him Suzanne Hawken sent you) and pick up a picnic lunch to enjoy at one of the vineyards while soaking up the views.

Spa Day
After a day of wine tasting, you’ll definitely need some pampering! So, plan to have a spa day (or at least a spa hour) at one of our amazing spas. Many resorts offer spa packages tailored for groups, featuring massages, facials, and other treatments that will leave everyone feeling rejuvenated and ready for some more shenanigans. Some spas have outdoor areas where you can soak in a hot tub surrounded by vineyards and, if you’re really feeling adventurous, you can have a mudbath! Forewarning, you will be naked and you will get mud in all sorts of crevaces! 😄

Hot Air Ballooning
| If you’re looking for a one-in-a-lifetime experience, hot air ballooning could be the answer! I’m super afraid of heights and I felt completely at ease in the hot air balloon I went on. The pilot was extremely qualified and had been piloting hot air balloons for over 20 years – even over the Alps! I used Napa Valley Balloons but there are a couple of other options you can check out too (below). It’s a super early start – somewhere around 6 am with a 7 am take off – and you’re rewarded with a glass of champagne to toast your accomplishment after your flight! This unique perspective of Napa Valley is sure to provide breathtaking views and plenty of photo opportunities and is a true girl-bonding experience! |  |

Napa Valley Bike Tours
| Feeling like you need to get a little exercise inbetween the winery visits? Renting electric bikes is a great option as you can decide just how much work you want to put into it. We have an amazing bike trail that takes you from Napa to Yountville and also St. Helena to Calistoga, both completely safe and away from the main roads. You can also get guided tours if you’re feeling a little unsure of where to go. My favorite is Fat Tire Bike Rentals (as for Chris, the owner, and tell him Suzanne Hawken sent you). The fresh air and beautiful surroundings make this a fun and possibly invigorating option for your Napa Valley bachelorette. |  |

Napa Valley Wine Train
| If you drive up Hwy 29 you’ll see the railway track that accommodates the Napa Valley Wine Train. With 14 different experiences, you will definitely find one that you’ll enjoy – from daytime to night time and even a murder mystery train experience! Depending on the experience you choose, you’ll enjoy wine on the train or you’ll stop at up to two different wineries along the Valley floor in addition to an on-train wine tasting, a four course meal and you’ll have a chance to take a photo at the famous ‘Welcome to Napa Valley’ sign. I’ve done the Legacy Tour twice and I think it’s a great way to see the Valley and experience a few wineries along the way. |  |
